My Adventures
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to travel to some truly remarkable places, from the beautiful landscapes of the UK and across Europe, to some of the most remote and inhospitable corners of our planet.
Along the way, I’ve had some unforgettable encounters with wildlife — from Polar Bears and Arctic Foxes in the wilds of Svalbard, to frosty Bison roaming the frozen forests of Białowieża, and more penguins than I could possibly count across South Georgia and Antarctica.
Each journey has brought its own unique experiences, challenges and memories, and I’ve put together a series of short blogs to share some of those adventures with you.
I hope they give you a little taste of what it’s like to experience these incredible places and the wildlife that calls them home. Perhaps they’ll even inspire an adventure of your own!
Poland
Travel with me into the heart of the Polish wilderness in Białowieża, where the largest herd of European Bison currently reside, along with Wolves, Moose and Sea Eagles.
Antarctica
The adventure of a lifetime, covering 3 continents and over 20,000 miles. Patagonia first, followed by an expedition cruise to The Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica before returning to Tierra Del Fuego and then home. Penguins are one of the key species here, with vast numbers spotted on South Georgia alone.
Romania
Romania is home to a stunning array of wildlife, with vast numbers of birds found in the Danube Delta, and large numbers of European Brown Bears up in the mountains
